Overlooked in the states as The Kinks were banned in the US in 1967, this album shows why Ray Davies is a genius of a songwriter. The beautiful Waterloo Sunset is probably one of the greatest songs ever written. Two Sisters, Lazy Old Sun, Situation Vacant and David Watts are just as good. Something Else is without a doubt one of best The Kinks' albums and should be right there with Pet Sounds and Sgt. Pepper as a timeless classic! GOD SAVE THE KINKS!!!
