Doesn’t Fully Represent the 90’s U2
By That One Guy!
I don’t care what anyone says, U2 was AMAZING in the 90’s!!! Sadly, this compilation really missed the mark and didn’t capture that period. First of all, get rid of all the 2000’s songs - they’re good, but they belong on a 2000-2010 compilation, because the ATYCLB album came out in late 2000 and was still putting out singles well into 2001. Next, drop the so-called “improved” 2002 re-recordings of the POP & Zooropa songs. The originals are so much better, and …they’re from the 90’s.
If you want a great recap of U2’s best from the 90’s, I suggest this track listing instead:
(1) Even Better Than the Real Thing; (2) Last Night On Earth; (3) Sweetest Thing (1998 version); (4) Lemon; (5) Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me; (6) If God Will Send His Angels; (7) Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses; (8) Mission: Impossible (Junior’s Hard Mix); (9) Mysterious Ways; (10) Stay; (11) Miss Sarajevo; (12) Discothèque; (13) The Fly; (14) Numb; (15) Gone; (16) One.
BOOM! There you go! :)
U2 is beautiful
By Pie is awesome and oranges

By Uncle Elijah
This is a good introduction to U2's 90's music, it covers all the hits very well. It even includes some tracks not on the regular albums like Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me.

Love the Gangs of New York theme, and couldn't buy it anywhere else. Thumbs up U2 fans!

I'm glad U2's Pop album is
not the genre itself, but it's
Rock Music after all and
likewise U2 always makes
Has some issues
This includes most major hits from the 90's, but it has some issues. The new mixes of the songs are not the original songs, and while they are still mostly good, be aware of this. However, the big problem is the song selection. Major hits from this era such as Walk On and The Fly are not included, while songs such as the First Time and The Hands That Built America are. The First Time was not even released as a single, and I had never heard THTBA despite being a major U2 fan. Therefore, I recommend that if you're just trying U2 out, go for Achtung Baby or All That You Can't Leave Behind and Walk On past this.
