Sweet blues album
I really enjoyed listening to this album. On the whole, this is a gritty, soulful effort. There may be a few "polished" numbers here (horns) that run counter to what you might have heard Allman perform LIVE but this is a masterful piece of work. So much of putting an good album together is selecting the right tunes, which he and Burnett have done. Hope to see this performed stage soon. Lastly, Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks claim this to be the best blues album of 2011…even as Trucks took home the grammy that year.

If you don't like this you don't like music. God bless T Bone for bringing out the best in some great artists.
Low Country Blues
Thank you Gregg and all you had a part in this release. Please don't stop making music. Please.

A commercial piece of crap.
Gregg Allman is one of the greatest vocalists of all time. He sounds awesome on this record. Great choice of songs to cover, although I feel like the end of the record starts to tapper off a little. Not quite as strong as the beginning of it. Maybe they should have done less songs.
Not my blues or my Allman
Sorry, but I have to try Nd give it two stars to be nice. I love the BLUES and the Allman Brothers, but I don't think this makes me feel the same or even close to what I need. Just not blus inspired.
Paid His Dues - Now Delivers Some Perfect Blues
Always a great blues voice and now a great blues soul to back it up. A wonderful selection of songs, great gutiar and some great horns. Not much Allman Brothers here for those who are looking for the old Allman Bros. sound but what is delivered is an instant bluesclassic. The best Allman product since Brothers & Sisters.
Truly 5 Star

Here is a artist that grew up in blues country, lived it, breathed it, played it and still does. There isn't a bad track on the album. I grew up when The Allman Brothers Band was at it's peak, and this album, like one gentleman said, "Made my desert island list" LOL. "Blind Man", "Can't Be Satisfied", "Reconsider Baby" are so great. Like Gregg said in the video, he studied the old blues artists. Blues runs freely in Gregg Allman's veins. Thank God it does.
THE BOMB !!!!!
He can do no wrong in my eyes. What an album! Bluesy, and just incredible. He sounds wonderful on it and love the spin he puts on the songs. You need to add this whole thing to your collection ! Love it , love it , love it !
