  • Best Metal Album Of The 90's!!!

This album took bits of hardcore, death metal, speed metal and fused those genres with Pantera's excellent musicianship and overpowering sound. Guitarist Dimebag Darrell was to the 90's what Jimi Hendrix was to the 60's and Eddie Van Halen was to the 80's - the most innovative and best guitarist of his genre. This album is very raw, aggressive and heavy. It surprised everyone when it debuted at #1 on the billboard charts in 1994. Pantera was the best metal band of the 90's. I think Far Beyond Driven was the best metal album of the 90's. The 20th anniversary edition is a high quality remaster and the live bonus material is an excellent addition to a legendary album. All other bands should pull up a chair, take notes and learn from this masterpeice of an album!!!

Only buy this if you already don't own the studio album if you do, there is no point really, on top of that there are no Unreleased Tracks on this unlike the previous two 20th Anniversary releases. Hell, though this is my favorite album and I've waited two freakin' years for only ONE unreleased track it's sad to see that they gave us about 8 live tracks instead (which isn't bad, but watch iTunes make that a "Album Only" thing in which you got to purchase the entire thing to get them).
  • "HARD LIVES?"

Why does iTunes do this? It's "HARD LINES and sunken cheeks" not Hard Lives and sunken cheeks
