Very good covers, I'm not saying the originals are bad but I prefer these covers by U2. And the Temple Bar Edit and Remix are great as well.
this is the era when they inspired me to write and play guitar.all of my songs are u2 godchildren yet to be released into the world.
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses -EP
The song "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" by U2 is one of their songs that takes the listener to a different place. The two versions of "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses", the Temple Bar edit and the Temple Bar mix are good, but the Temple Bar mix is better. The two cover songs "Paint it Black" and "Fortunate Son" are good cover songs.
Top Tracks: "Fortunate Son", "Who's Gonna Ride Your Ride Wild Horses".
Where did Actung Baby go?!?!?!
By the worst critic ever
I just don't get it. Why in the world would itunes take the album off? It's an awsome album! if Pop is being sold, then why the hell isn't Actung Baby?!?!?!? Come on itunes. Just because it's biggest hits are on 18singles, doesn't mean you have to stop selling all the other great tracks, like Ultraviolet and Until the End of the World, just to name a few. This really ticks me off.
WHAT?! YEAH! I DO LIKE IT!
Here's to the dude who said Hannah Montana is better than U2 and said he didn't like their version of the Stones' "Paint It Black"...YES, I DO LIKE U2's VERSION OF THIS SONG! Anyway, that is not the only reason to buy this EP. "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" is my favorite song from Achtung Baby, and it is well worth the 4 bucks to get that song and the covers.
Hannah Montanas Better
By Hello Yo Bo
This is disgusting. Its more horible than ANY Hannah Montana song. These guys used to be so good, now their just a pop band.
Paint it 'DUD'!
By Paint it 'DUD'!
The only good covers of Rolling Stones songs ever done, ever, are by Devo (No Satisfaction) and by the Avengers (Paint it Black).
this is for chupa X
that guy had to go and ruin the average rating of this ep cause he didn't like 'paint it black'
first of all, it's a nasty (nasty being good) cover
second of all, it's a filler song, so even if it was bad, who really cares.
ITS GREAT with paint it black
By Jay South
"Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" is a decent song, but the one worth your money here is the cover version of "Fortunate Son." It's nice to hear U2 bring their sound and style to this classic rock tune, and have some fun (it's one of the better U2 covers). "Paint It Black" is okay, but the transfer over to U2 from the Stones doesn't quite fit. If you weren't that into "Achtung Baby," you can skip the other songs, but do consider "Fortunate Son."
